Wexford Half marathon and 10K

Kevin Malone 3rd overall and Silvia !st Lady in 10K

Great results from Wexford 10K and Half mararthon with Silvia & Kevin Malone running great in the 10K with Silvia winning the ladies section and Kevin coming 3rd overall!
In the Half marathon Michael O'Mahony was first WAC member home and ran an excellent 1:22 and was 6th home in the race and Brendan Aspel back running short distances like 13.1 miles again after his Connemara ULTRA marathon run a few weeks ago ran 1:28 today and his Brother Adrian running his first half ran an excellent 1:44. Jason O'Brien beat his PB by 6 minutes to run 1 42 and Deirdre Chapman ran a super PB of 1:46:00.
Results of 10k HERE
Results of Half HERE
Also, in London today Pat Grant ran an excellent 3:23 and while this is slower than he was hoping for most of us mere mortals would be happy with that time for the distance! Pat is due to be a pace maker for the Waterford Viking marathon in June but something tells us he'll have his eye on a marathon somewhere over the summer to get under that 3 hr barrier....Longford in August some suggest is good for a time!!!!
Deirdre Chapman 1 46, Jason O'Brien 1 42 and Adrian Aspel 1 44 in the Half

Deirdre with Brendan Aspel 1 28 for the half marathon
