AGM - Friday - Feb 3rd

Its AGM time again and we are having it on Friday the 3^rd February on the 2^nd floor of the Kazbar Bar in Waterford. The AGM will take place from 8pm until 9.30pm. If anyone has any motions they would like to propose please forward them to tom@waterfordac.com by Friday 27^th January please.

This will be followed by a Social evening where the presentation for the Male Athlete of the year, Female Athlete of the year and Club person of the year will be made.

National Masters 2012 - Nenagh

Pictured representing Waterford AC are Frank Quinlan (M35), Kieran Leahy (M45, 2nd in the 200m), Mary Jenning (W55, 1st in 800m and 1500m and 2nd in 3K), Tom O'Brien (M40, 1st in Long Jump and High Jump) and Paschal Halley (M40, 2nd in Long Jump). A great day of competition at the National Indoor Championships of Ireland held in Nenagh in what all agreed was a very well run event on Sunday Jan 15th.

Munster Indoors Championships

Well done all our medal winners at Nenagh today. Diane Behan won 3k O40, Paschal Halley double gold in 200m and Long Jump and 2nd in 800m and High Jump, Frank Quinlan 1st in 1500m, 2nd in 3k and 3rd in 800m O35, Kieran Leahy 2nd in both 60m and 200m O45 and Pat Breen won his first senior men title in the 400m. Great going all and National Masters Indoors next Sunday so good prep!!!
